CORE VALUE: COMMUNITY
POP ROC’s mission is to share joy through food, service and experiences with a core focus on service.
This is primarily done through building community, one of POP ROC’s core values.
Through community relationships, professional and personal, we are able to serve more people. We want our squad members to feel as though they are part of a community, we want our guests to feel as though they are part of that same community, and we are passionate about being involved in our community. Many of our vendors are local community champions. We are passionate about building relationships with local partners so we can work together to have a bigger impact. Because we choose to align ourselves with local vendors who support the mission and values, the support and patronage from our guests pours back into helping Rochester’s economic and social sustainability. Simply put, when you support our shop, you’re making a positive difference. If you’re someone who wants to become a POP ROC vendor, we would love to learn more about you! Please click on JOIN THE MISSION to fill out a short form about yourself and your products and we will reach out to you.
SUPPORT THE MISSION
Our mission is to share joy through food, service and experiences. We partner with several local organizations to accomplish this mission and build relationships within our communities. Financial contributions have helped us take further action in these initiatives, like offering our community free lunch on the last Friday of the month, to providing a safe space at a discounted rate for organizations to host events and community activities to just donating comics, collectibles and other toys and retail items to folks in need. Thank you in advance for your consideration and support.
GET INVOLVED
We do our best to give back through service. We consider it a privilege to help our community in areas where there is a need. If you are someone who is in need of something, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We will do what we can. Some projects we have worked on in the past have been cooking for residents at the American Cancer Society B. Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge Hospitality House, donating Comics for Kids and POPS for Patients at the Golisano Children’s Hospital, participated in the organization and implementation of Super City Rochester and Rochester NY’s first sober crawl, raised funds to curate and distribute Easter bags to families for free, donated more than 25 cereal boxes to Webster Public Library for families to create cereal box guitars, put together a Comic Creators Series to help people learn how to create their own comics, the list goes on and we want to do more! We’ve also partnered with organizations like the East and Alex Association and Visit Rochester to help transform the way people see and experience downtown Rochester. If you represent an organization that aligns with our mission and values and needs our help, please fill out the short form below and we will reach out to you soon.
