JOIN US FOR OUR SEVENTH CHEF CHALLENGE & FREE LUNCH FRIDAY
OCTOBER 28th, 2022 | 12PM - 1PM | 45 EUCLID STREET
ALL ARE WELCOME
This month we are doing something a little different. We’re featuring our kitchen lead Natrell and keeping it “HOUSE MADE”.
Every month, POP ROC partners up with amazing Rochesterians to serve the community lunch.
But not just any lunch…FREE LUNCH! This month we had several community leaders who are helping make this lunch possible! We would like to thank RISE Dispensary, The Rochester Commissary, Packard Valley Farms and Babcock Farms!
For those who are joining us for the first time, what makes this event a challenge is that the chef gets the main ingredients one week ahead of time and then have to create a plate that will feed 75-100 people out of it.
The goal: Build bridges by breaking bread and work together with other community members to eradicate poverty and hunger.
This idea was birthed out of the pandemic while volunteering to cook hundreds of meals a week for The Father’s Heart Ministry, a mobile food truck ministry that goes out faithfully every week to feed those in need.
Oftentimes when we show up, we have no idea what we’re making until that day. We take it seriously and try to make delicious meals out of whatever gets donated. It can be a challenge, but we’re always making something delicious with the opportunity.
Join us this Friday the 28th for our seventh Free Lunch and Chef Challenge event.
We look forward to serving you!
